Jubilee L.E.A.D. Academy Says Thank You to Committed Staff Member

Jubliee L.E.A.D. Academy staff member retires after 36 years.

An enthusatic, dedicated and long-standing member of staff is due to retir after serving the community of Jubilee Academy for the past 36 years.

Janet Flowers began working at Jubilee Academy in 1983 has seen the academy evolve over her many years of service. Speaking about her time with the school she said, “I have really enjoyed my time working here at Jubilee. I have seen lots of changes over the 36 years. The quality of the school dinners being on the biggest changes. I will miss all the staff and children.”

After dedicating herself to the school for 36 years, Janet has become a well-known and familiar face and will be greatly missed by both staff and pupils. In an assembly, she was thanked by all staff and pupils and presented with a bunch of flowers. Speaking about Janet’s time at the school, Headteacher, Nicola McIntyre, said, “We would just like to thank Janet for all her hard work and commitment to Jubilee L.E.A.D. Academy and the community over the past 36 years. We wish Janet a very happy retirement. She will be sorely missed.”
