This report, which has been produced by the Department for Education, identifies how the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust has used school-to-school support as an effective strategy to drive school improvement within our academies.


National College for Teaching & Leadership:

Leadership of great pedagogy in teaching school alliances: research case studies – February 2015

This case study, which has been produced by the National College for Teaching & Leadership looks at how the L.E.A.D. Urban Teaching School Alliance has used research and development.  The focus has been on higher attaining children developing greater independence and engagement in their learning through a variety of methods involving talk in their lessons.


Department for Education:

Multi-Academy Trust Case Study – November 2014

This case study, which was produced by the Department for Education, looks at the journey of the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust.  It highlights the restructure from an umbrella trust to a multi-academy trust and the considerations that were taken into account to ensure its success.
