Governance: What is it?
We provide comprehensive support to ensure effective governance across all of our academies. This includes a dedicated Governor Hub, relevant correspondence and meeting paperwork, and effective administration of key governance aspects including membership, terms of office and reporting.
Our Governor Support team provides robust induction and online training, access to specialist panels for appeals, disciplinaries, exclusions and admissions, reviews and audits, and recruitment support.

- Appointed 51 new Academy Governors with a specific skillset within the last 12 months to strengthen individual governance at an academy level.
- Launched and delivered ten new governor training programmes to enhance the effectiveness of governance across the Trust.
- 90% positive rating for support provided to Academy Governing Bodies.
